Replacement ikea sofa covers?

Hi

has anyone bought a replacement sofa cover for an Ikea sofa (ours is a Stocksund)? There seem to be loads on Etsy and generally on line but worried the quality might not be great….and the price seems to vary such a lot!

I’d ideally like cotton velvet if anyone happens to have bought one of those they were happy with!

soferia - I think they’re in Poland - really happy with my stocksund armchair cover from there. We didn’t even buy the ikea fabric (if you buy the sofa in the shop you don’t have to get the covers) - just went straight for the covers from soferia. You can get samples of the fabrics sent first. We gent for dove grey velvet, very happy. It’s 5 years old now and good as new.

I found a photo because we sold the sofas last year to swap for a big corner sofa, we kept the matching armchair. It’s the stocksund model!

I have been buying covers from Bemz for years. Always washable as country living with mucky dogs. Never been disappointed, never had anything wrong. I haven’t had velvet but they do offer it. My only tip - wash at low temp and spin at minimum speed and don’t tumble dry to avoid shrinkage.

They weren't as good as the original but they gave us another 5 years of the sofa

@OneDayIWillLearn did you buy the covers? I'd like to get covers for our IKEA sofa and wondered what you thought?

I'd second Bemz. I have linen ones on several armchairs and they look great.

I used Bemz. Strangely, they were cheaper on the .SE (Sweden website) even with the delivery, so I used the .SE website and used Google translate. They knew I was in the UK as they sent the samples and final product to me. This was about 10 years ago now so they might have closed that loophole.
