Can anyone recommend a firm that does worktop replacements?

..apart from Quartzize? They came to give a quote which was - frankly - eye watering! I also didn't like their sales techniques. I just need them replacing /covering. Don’t need new sink/doors etc. Nothing fancy - just something simple and durable.

Don’t know anyone locally who has had this done so feel like Im just picking one off the internet, which I’d rather not. Im in Yorkshire if that helps!

Google local suppliers of quartz or granite or whatever you like and then go and visit them. Most will have fitters and it's much cheaper than going to a kitchen showroom.

Our worktops are made of Corian. They were installed in 2002 and have been amazing. I think the colour is "Midnight sky" or similar - black with white flecks. The sinks are white and molded seamlessly into the worktops - see photo.
There are installers all over the country.

Their quote was probably "eye watering" because they fit premium worktops, Quartz and the like.

It's like going to a Rolls Royce salesroom when you want a Ford Focus and complaining they cost too much.

Sounds like you only want bog standard MDF worktops so a local kitchen fitter should be able to sort out replacements, cut and fit for you.

Dream Doors do worktops too.
