Should I get a windows cleaner before exchange ?

hi all
We are due to exchange soon hopefully and our buyer is being difficult, asking a home survey last minute and delaying the exchange ..
our conservatory and windows have gone quite dirty with the bad weather we had and we were wondering if it is a thing to get a window cleaner before exchange or completion or if it’s ok to leave it to them ?
Any perspective on this would be greatly appreciated!
thanks very much

Think leaving a house as clean and tidy as possible is a pleasant courtesy for the new owners

If they were nice people I would say yes, as it would be a lovely thing for them to have and one less thing to think about after a move. But since they sound difficult I would save my money in case I needed a window cleaner at my new house.

I've always left the house spotless, not bothered with having windows cleaned though. Nor have I ever noticed the state of the windows when moving in somewhere. So, no, I don't think it's a thing.

Why are they delaying, did they not have a survey before when they made the offer. It might be worth doing the windows but it doesn't affect the survey or a price reduction.

thanks all!
Not sure why they delayed the survey, I assume they were busy with selling their own property. Hopefully it is not a tactic to try a late negotiation as we would not entertain that (we are chain free as not buying anything else for now).
They have not been the best buyer so far, everything needed a follow up it’s quite stressful.

was even thinking to pay a cleaner to come and clean inside but now I’m thinking we will do ourselves (house is resonnably clean anyway already, will be mainly dust behind furniture)
of course we will leave the inside of the house clean and tidy.
Hope it makes sense?
thanks again !
