Cost of adding outrigger extension only.

When we bought the house (Victorian terraced), it already had a dormer loft extension. We're thinking of coming out on the outrigger, thus turning the loft extension into an L-shaped and winning a room that can be entered from the same landing as the loft extension. Has anyone done this in London? How much did it cost considering the stairs and the loft extension are there and we wouldn't touch it if it can be avoided?

Watching with interest as we wish to add a small (about 2.5m square) loft extension on our outrigger to create an additional bathroom for the top floor.

Depends on when your previous loft was done and whether stairs/fire escape route meet present regulation. If they do, it should be a very simple and quick build. Could get it done for under 30k easily.

Wow that's more than I expected 😬

Do let me know if you go ahead with it! We will have to wait...
