Is a UPVC lean to porch a good idea for utilities?

Hi, I've just moved into a property with a very small kitchen, no room for a full sized fridge let alone a freezer and tumble dryer. Thinking about solutions for this that isn't a £20k extension, I'm considering having a 1x2.5m upvc rear porch put at the back of the kitchen. The back door swings inwards so no wasted space and that's plenty of room for utilities. I could get an external plug put in and the water pipe sits just behind where this would be, no drains in the way either.

Has anyone tried this? Has anyone got a upvc porch and think it would be suitable? How much was yours? Any issues that could arise with ventilation?

Thanks!

Yes we did similar with turning our dilapidated conservatory into a utility room. I had no problem with frosts etc damaging the washing machine, I did have to always leave the window cracked open to prevent mould but it worked well.
