Report on title - how long?

Searches and enquires are back and hopefully there won't be any additional enquiries.

Are there any experts on here that can give me a rough idea of how long it will take my solicitor to write/send the report on title?

Appreciate it may not be tomorrow but hoping she will pick it up early next week!!

If there are no additional enquiries, then the report on title would be the next step.

However, saying that the searches and enquiries are back might mean that your solicitor has received the searches but hasn't reviewed them yet, so further enquiries may or may not be raised. Also, the enquiries will need to be reviewed because the responses may be vague and require further clarification. If this is the case, then the solicitor is not ready to send you the report on title yet.

The report on title is quite a lengthy report and usually comes with lots of paperwork, including documents for you to sign and return, as well as other documents relating to the property. It can take a while to compile it so don't expect it to be done in a day. Fridays, being a popular 'completion' day often means that the day to day work is put aside until all the completions for the day have gone through.

Ha! In my case my solicitor 'forgot' to send it for a month. Now delaying our exchange ad she's got to go through it with me. 😡
