Is this damp?

I’ve just noticed these areas of discolouration/algae? Coming from one of my upstairs windows. The windows themselves are less than a year old, no issues. Inside is bone dry. No signs elsewhere in the house externally or inside.

Should I be calling someone to look at it? And if so what sort of trade.

I would guess the gutters are overflowing? You can check by having a look when it next rains.

Not gutters I don’t think, there’s no gutters anywhere near. It looks like it’s coming from the corner of the windows?
It’s not a new build, I think these bricks have been there since about 1960 and I’ve never seen it before in the 5 years I’ve owned it! Strange.

It’s an issue with the bricks. What is between them and the inner wall? Is it failing insulation? I don’t think it’s the windows. Effervescence on bricks usually is white. This looks more green? It could be the bricks are damp from excessive rain.

I have no idea. Would a builder be able to tell me? It’s just strange it’s only in this one area of the house.
The inside of the wall is plastered and has no signs of damp at all.
