HETAS certificate fir woodburning stove

If buying a property with a woodburning stove, what is the vendor required to provide? Just the HETAS certificate from when it was fitted? Or should there be further HETAS certificates relating to servicing, safety checks etc?

HETAS from installation is required as confirms installation complied with building regulations.

Annual inspection recommended but no legal requirement on seller to do it for a buyer. Most modern installations are with a lined flue so not much to inspect/clean.

Also make sure you have a carbon monoxide monitor in the room the fire is in. They can be portable, so buy one in case the seller takes theirs.
