Cheaper replacement soft close toilet for Duravit Starck 3 ? Anyone or even the very helpful Piglet John?

Hi - I need to replace the soft close toilet seat on my Duravit Starck 3 . The cheapest price I can find is over £150. For a loo seat ...
I am sure I can fit it myself but I cannot work out a cheaper equivalent as there seem to be variations. I would be grateful for any advice.Thank you.

We had to price up a Duravity Happy seat recently and were shocked at the prices. Do you need a new seat or just the hinges/fixings? We managed to get the fixings off a spares and repairs website for £20 in the end.

Have you looked on Screwfix or Wickes for similar?
I got one on there for about £17.They're quite helpful in there if you take the measurements in with you, they'll make sure it will work

@reluctantlogin I got mine in b ^ q! cheap, but cant remember how much! dead easy to fit too. even if it is a concealed fitting they are still easy to fit.

im trying to find a replacement for mine too.

Im concerned about taking it off because it's concealed and im not sure what's going to happen when i undo the tiny screw. Are the fittings on the inside going to fall to the floor inside the toilet base???

Take a few photos of the seat you’ve currently got, including fittings. Measure it. Show it in the shop.

@reluctantlogin just looked for the right shape of seat. they are standard distances apart (the bolts) you can get them on amazon for around 20 pounds. if it fits perfectly, go back and buy another one for the future
