Just browsing RM looking at houses I'll never afford in a million years (as you do) and saw this... really? Who the hell can be bothered to go through that many photos? 😂

Excessive photos!

…somebody with £1.4 mill burning a hole in their back pocket.
Seriously no idea, but I wouldn’t mind a shifty at the first 25!

NormaLouiseBates · 10/10/2024 12:32

Lol I didn't link to it in case everyone thought I was just trying to sneakily advertise my own house 😂 (I wish!)

Wow! They are obviously proud of their house. It looks like they paid for a professional photo shoot to do the photos as you can see the photographer's signature in them.

SD25 · 10/10/2024 12:57

the signature is the estate agent - someone trying to justify their fee and make a name for themselves.

"one of Coventry's most sought-after residential roads" is a phrase I didn't think I'd read.

It might be a nice looking road but it's smack in the middle of a fairly below average area. Do you know Coventry? Kenilworth Road it is not!

It's clearly the EA's Millionaire Special listing package, the Tesco Value properties only get 25-35 photos.

Has it got loads of ones where they zoom in for an arty shot of an ornament or piece of furniture that the owners will be taking with them anyway. I always find those SO helpful.

Anicecumberlandsausage · 10/10/2024 13:27

Very specific photos of worktops. 🤷🏻‍♀️

It looks like a Lego house to me. 🏠

MrsPelligrinoPetrichor · 10/10/2024 13:35

Apart from a few too many samey shots of the front outside it's fine, I want to see lost of photos, rather that than wonder why there are no photos of the upstairs.

Very envious of the pergola it's lovely!

TheStroppyFeminist · 10/10/2024 13:38

Urgh, what a horrible soulless house

SoupDragon · 10/10/2024 14:39

It's absolutely hideous. All that over designed nonsense is going to date badly.

I was looking at a listing a few days ago and 2 of the photos were close ups of the cat sitting on a pouffe and the garden furniture then a close up of hydrangeas in a vase on a table. Who cares if there is no photo of the third bedroom or side return when I can see some flowers?!

MulberryPeony · 10/10/2024 15:37

Haha I have that worktop. Love the double sided (I presume gas) fire. One of the bathrooms is spookily similar to mine too. The night time photos are a nice touch but I think 40 photos tops would still be overkill.

BuzzieLittleBee · 10/10/2024 15:47

For £1.4million, I'd want to be more than a few metres from the A45!

HellsBalls · 10/10/2024 15:56

So many photos is usually a sign it’s overpriced, or a house out of kilter with the area.

user1471538283 · 10/10/2024 15:59

I know this area! I mean the street is nice enough but there's only a few houses like this on it and it's a bit of a trek to the local high street. And it's not Kenilworth Road.

It’s a gazebo. , a pergola has a slatted roof with gaps in between. A gazebo has a solid roof ☺️

It was a gentle joke.

It's definitely the latter in this case.

Wow, what a house though!

housethatbuiltme · 10/10/2024 20:51

It wouldn't be so many if they didn't have utterly pointless photos of glasses in drawers, a close up of the sink, the skylight, the light bulbs, the corner of the counter, a lamp etc... and them 3+ photos of each thing from different angles.
