Buying a Property in Burnt Ash Lane: Advice for Young Families?

Hey everyone,
We're a young couple in our early 30s considering a property purchase around Burnt Ash Lane (Ridgeway Drive Lane / Broadlands Road), near the Toyota showroom. We've heard mixed reviews and would love your insights.

Key concerns:

Safety: How safe is the area, especially for young children?

Schools: Are there good schools nearby?

New Developments: We've heard about upcoming private housing. How might this impact the neighborhood?

Grove Park Station: While the commute to central London is convenient, Grove Park Station seems a bit rough. Is this a significant concern? We are going to use Grove park Station for our commute to the central London.

Any advice or feedback would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure if you can edit the thread title but I think you need to include Grove Park, London, to get some responses. Just stating Burnt Ash Lane doesn't tell us where it is until you open the thread. There will many posters who won't do that.

If you report your post you can ask MNHQ to change the title.
