Hi all,
We’re looking to move to South Essex and would love some advice on areas to consider. We have two young children (2 and 4), so good schools are a priority, as well as nice High Streets with shops/cafes and groups for children to join. My husband needs to get into London on an ad hoc basis, maybe once a week, so decent transport links are important too. We’d also love to be close to countryside, pretty villages, or even near the sea or some historical areas.
We previously lived in Chelmsford and are thinking about moving back there or to some of the surrounding villages. We also have family in Hockley, so we’re considering nearby areas too. What’s Leigh-on-Sea like? Is it too busy?
Any recommendations or advice on places to look at would be much appreciated!
