I updated Birmingham Housing form by uploading several medical proofs as need adopted property from the start but they gave me sheltered bungalow. I need walk in shower and also need to move to receive care and support from family to an area closer to my family. I updated and uploaded lots of medical evidence , also letter of my consultant etc. Its been nine months and I have not heard from the council. They have still not accessed my form. I desperately need a walk in shower\ adopted property near my family. I need an adopted house and not a bungalow with downstairs toilet or stair lift as my daughter suffers from IBD, astma etc. With no stairs her digestive problems have gone worse. She can't go out due to social anxiety. She gets acid reflex and GERD making her breathing difficult. She has ended in the hospital several times due to breathing difficuilties related to stomach issues. Any idea how long more I need to wait, thanks. Stairs helped her a lot and kept her away from having IBD flare ups. It is so bad that she had to move out and private rent a house with the stairs for her health but due to high rent she had to move back with me.

Why don't you contact them and ask that?

Thanks, whenever I ring there is voice message saying due to the high volume of applications they will contact when they will assess the form and there is no need to contact them.No actual person picks up the phone.

Submit a formal complaint they have to deal with that then within a certain time frame
