Housing Association missing appointments

Hi everyone,

I was just wondering if anyone can help me on this - is it possible to claim compensation when the housing association doesn’t follow through/show up on the date of the appointments?

It’s been 3 times now (for different reasons) and here I am having to take time off work just sitting around waiting for someone to show up.

I’m not trying to be petty, but I’ve used my annual leave so these are all hours that I won’t get paid to sit waiting for someone and it’s just inconsiderate of them.

They will have a complaints policy. Go through that and if your aren’t content with the outcome complain to the Housing Ombudsman.

Ask for compensation for your lost earnings and if that isn't successful take it to the small claims court. Depending what mood the judge is in on the day, you may or may not be successful.
