Kitchens on a budget

We can’t afford to put a whole new kitchen in. Cupboards are actually decent just don’t like the fronts at all. Working out whether it’s easier/cheaper to get them sprayed compared to buying new doors? Has anyone done either of these?

We had our kitchen hand painted and we are very happy with it. Ours was £2k but will clearly depend on size.

We changed the doors and worktops and sink in our kitchen when we moved in 10 years ago. Still going strong.

I am sure that the likes of B&Q sell paint suitable for kitchen cupboard doors. Can you paint them yourself as it would cost very little. I just checked and they sell lots of colours, one example is
