Non-IKEA appliances (oven/microwave) in IKEA kitchen?

Hi! We've bought an IKEA kitchen, which includes a column for a built-in oven and microwave.
I was under the impression that you could easily fit non-IKEA appliances in an IKEA kitchen (except dishwashers) but now I'm looking at the dimensions of appliances, the width of the Siemens microwave I'm looking at seems to be 56.8 cm instead of 60cm. Does that mean there'll be gaps either side?
Has anyone here fitted non-IKEA appliances in a column and can reassure me (or not) please?
Thanks

Yes, not a problem at all. We pit an integrated fridge freezer and oven in, both from ao, not ikea. No problem.

You're welcome. Sorry the photo is rubbish quality.

Hi,
It shouldn't be a problem and your builder should be able to fill the gap with a filler panel if it's too large.
Obviously as long as the appliance is smaller than the Ikea cupboard you should be able to fit it in.

I'd make a note of it with the builder though and ask them how they would fill the caps.

Good luck and enjoy your new kitchen.

Thanks Arnamaria. I'd be worried that front would look a bit odd if it wasn't aligned with the column, but hopefully there's ways to disguise that.
