LPE1/managment pack turn around time

Hi!
we’ve had an update from our solicitors regarding our move.
we are in a chain.
the chain goes -
first buyers, my buyer, me, my seller (he doesn’t live there anymore so chain ends there).
we’ve been told this evening that my buyers are waiting on 1 thing for their sale.
they have had to request a new pack for an lpe1 which is also a management pack? Or is part of a management pack?
it seems my buyers house is a leasehold.
this pack was request tail end of last week.
looks like this can take anywhere from 2-6 weeks to come back? Different websites say different things.
does anyone have experience or knowledge in this area??

after looking online it appears they only are valid for 6 months and most websites suggest to request this early on when the property goes on the market.
so it’s really frustrating this has been done very close to the end when the sale of all properties have been on going since end of July.
and looks like it could potentially delay the sale?

just looking for advice if you’ve been in this situation how long did it take in your experience?

Thank you in advance!!

Depending on the management company, I’m sure they’ll be an option to pay extra to expedite things. Get them to check, and pay!

We got the management pack early on but it was incomplete and it took nearly a month to sort between solicitors as had to request documents from various parties. You need to keep prompting solicitors at the moment to get them to do things.

We paid for a fast track expedited service, 5 working days instead of 12 weeks...

That sounds a lot better!!

I’ve asked my solicitor to check if the other solicitor have expedited the documents.
shes replied saying ‘they will be doing all they can’ but I’ve asked again when would she be likely to follow up on this.
as I don’t have the same confidence that they are doing all they can.
As my buyer has been sold STC since July and are only now requesting these documents after 9 weeks!

i would like confirmation that they are trying to speed this up but seems my solicitor is reluctant to push the issue further.

It's not always possible to just pay to expedite, it certainly wasn't when I sold my leasehold property earlier this year- the management company were that crap.

I am not sure there is much else you can do in this situation, your solicitor has chased and that's all they can do too.
