Builder problem

Hello all,

I engaged a Design and Build firm to fully refurb my house in Tooting. It was originally quoted as a 12 mth build but as of now it is about to enter it's 20th month and unfinished.

Needless to say that the whole thing has been a painful disaster which i won't detail here unless people want me to.

What I am not trying to get to with the builder is for him to agree to finish what is in the contract, make the house building regs compliant and leave.

He however is not willing to give me a date and is instead pushing contract variations to finish the build that will just add more time and cost.

At this point I just want my house back but the builder seemingly just doesn't seem to have any inclination to leave.

We are somewhat outside of the "what does it say in the contract?" scenarios.

It's a weird situation but outside of court order and bailiffs what options do i have to get him to leave my house?

I have no advice, but this sounds horrible enough to give you a bump.
