Been in a chain since March, second from bottom. All ready to exchange except my seller. They’ve missed agreed exchange deadline twice now. Their solicitors ignore everyone constantly and it takes weeks to answer simple queries. This isn’t helped by the sellers laissez-faire attitude too.
My buyers are threatening to pull out as it’s been so damn long (with no major issues as a reason). How do solicitors get away with it? There’s literally nothing anyone else in the chain can do….except watch it all fall apart months and ££££ down the line.
