Solar tarrifs - Octopus - can I sell their own electricity back to them?!

Looking at getting a big solar installation (22 panels, 10kWhp, 10kWh battery) and investigating tarrif options. Have I understood this correctly- I could have:

Agile Import (half hourly import pricing)
Fixed rate export (15p/kWh)

So when the Agile import tarrif goes to 0p/kWh - or even when it's negative pricing (as it does occasionally when it's very sunny/windy) - I could just fill up my battery with import and then immediately sell Octopus their own electricity back to them for 15p/kWh???

That’s what I do with mine

Thanks. Wow. Seems mad!

Are you happy with that combination of tarrifs then?

There are so many variables I'm having trouble figuring out which one would be optimal.

Unfortunately we are limited to 3.68kW export despite asking for more.

i haven’t had them long enough to make a full decision on what is right but the way we are going at the moment we will store enough credit from exporting that our electricity including the standing charges will be covered for the year.

a caveat of this is Octopus keep giving free electricity at certain points of the week. I don’t know what they are up to but they are researching something. I wouldn’t be surprised if their tariffs change soon.

it also took them a month to change the tariff over.
