Stripping old orange furniture

I have a few side tables that have a really orangey kind of varnish on them. Can anyone recommend a product for a) stripping off the old varnish and b) some sort of new varnish or protective layer that seals the wood but doesn't add a colour to it?

Nitromoors will strip it off or you could sand it. A green wash would cut the orange. I use lime wax after I've stripped varnish off

@MrsPelligrinoPetrichor - here’s my “grown up” furniture, do you know what your method do to it?

I do not have any method in mind, or experience!

Your furniture looks fab!
