How long until we likely complete?

Hi all, we were due to complete today but it’s gone awry. Our solicitor has said that the sellers solicitor has only just sent the title deeds to the seller for signing (don’t know if this is email or physical) and also that she has had to send the mortgage funds back to the bank because they’re not allowed to keep hold of them.
Does anyone know how likely it’ll be now until we complete (how long is a piece of string!) but I suppose I’m asking if the title deeds are digital or physical, and how quickly the bank will be able to transfer the funds back?

We’re FTBs and in Scotland and I’m really not up to scratch with what these things mean. We were certainly due to get the keys today and we signed our documents last week.

I would ask your solicitor

I'd be asking your solicitor why you only found this out today.

Get straight onto your solicitor, I’d be demanding answers today..

It was actually yesterday she informed us. She just said the sellers solicitor had only just sent the title deeds to the seller, so sounds like a fuck up on their end.
The exchange/completion/getting keys date was set for today.

The Scottish element changes things. Definitely get your solicitor to explain things.
