Buying in SE Ldn

I'm currently looking for a flat in zone 2 south East London and we are really struggling with the competition. Seems like some EAs have special lists of clients who get up front access so we are struggling to even get viewings on places before they go under offer.

Any advice on how to approach agents? Should we be viewing all the rubbish they send us to build rapport? We've got everything ready to go but it seems are missing out because of circumstances

Did anyone experience this in SE4/SE14 and adjacent areas? Honestly tempted to post notes through letter boxes but don't know if that would go down well round here.

Yes I would do a few viewings to build rapport. Even if you don't like the places knowing what you don't like about them is useful to you. As an extra I have heard good things about kfh, Bryan Keegan and Conran Estates locally.

Ah thank you! Can definitely say Bryan and Keegan and Conran are good. We missed out to a cash buyer with the first and were 2nd of 9 offers with Conran. KFH have been mixed for us and we think they may have been dishonest in one particular bidding situation.

Consider dating an agent in your chosen area.
