Laminate flooring

I’ve just had a quote for getting LVT laminate flooring fitted and it seems a bit steep! £790 for 2 rooms that are around 2.5m square and 1.6m square. Is that the going rate? What other flooring types might be cheaper but not terrible quality?

Do you mean the click to fit LVT flooring? It's not the same as laminate, I think.

We have LVT and are very pleased with it. It's VERY different to the laminate we had in the house we rented.

There are different brands of LVT. Which did you get a quote for?

£100 per metre fitted for LvT is about right. Laminate flooring may suit you depends where it's going? Laminate is fairly DIYable if you're handy at all? (LVT less so)
