Moving to Welling/Bexleyheath

Hi
I'm planning to move to either Welling(Edison road) or Bexleyheath (long lane near St. Thomas More Catholic Church hall). Could you please advise if this is a nice and safe place?
My son is turning 4 next month. Hence, taking nurseries/primary schools into consideration.

There have been many threads regarding both areas in the last year, so maybe do a search and if it doesn’t get you answers on the roads, give this thread a bump.
