New House Fleas… Help!!

We’ve lived in our new house for a week now and whilst it was left quite dirty and dusty by the previous owners, we’ve cleaned and cleaned before being able to unpack. Some rooms are wooden floorboards- with gaps, but the stairs, landing and our DS room are carpet. I know is the previous owners had 2/3 cats and there was lots of hair for me to try to vacuum up. But, we’ve now realised that there are fleas because we’ve got bites on our feet and ankles. Short of removing the carpet, is there anything we can do? Horrible to know our new house is infested!

Indorex spray should work.

Indorex as previously suggested but also treat the floorboards as the fleas also get into the gaps in them!

Thank you! I’m off to Amazon now!

Indorex - you will need 2 or 3 cans. Make sure you remove all food into cupboards/fridge before you spray. Spray everything- under furniture, behind it, remove cushions, spray cushions, duvets and bedding, remove mattress and spray bed base, spray floorboard/skirting board join, window sills, staircase, curtains. Once spray has settled, open doors and windows and air thoroughly. Hoover every two or 3 days afterwards- it wakes up eggs and they get killed off.
It is very effective.

Again Indorex is the only thing I found to really work, when we moved into our old house I was able to pick the brains of a council pest controller. He said to do it once really thoroughly, and then again in three weeks time. This will get any eggs that failed to wake up the first time. Seemed to work for me.

I’ve had the exact same problem. Did you resolve it at all? I’ve got about 26 flea bites cover on my body. We’ve tried to hoover and spray all the spray around the house which worked for about a week. Then I started to notice more bites on my body. I’ve woken up this morning and they’ve had a field day on me. Please if anyone can give me any advice that would be great
