Should I put time limit on offer?

Hey folks. So on Friday, we put an offer in on a flat for my Mum, and we still haven’t had a decision either way.
The flat is on for ‘offers over’ and we went slightly over to show we are serious. The EA hasn’t told us about any other offers, and the little things he says seem to indicate we have a good chance, but can’t help wondering if they’re stalling to see if a better offer comes in.
Property has been granted probate, so it may also be that there are multiple beneficiaries making the decision which could take time.
I don’t want to appear like an aggressive buyer, but I’m considering imposing a time limit of maybe one more day for them to give us their decision, and ask to stop further viewings. Trouble is, mum really wants the place so I don’t want to call their bluff either.
The property is probably slightly overpriced as it needs some updating. But we don’t mind paying it as it’s within budget, but we can’t go more than a grand or two higher.
So should I just chill and be patient, or take some action to try and force a decision?

It's 2 working days. There may be a number of beneficiaries to consult.

Yes this is a good point.
