Would this look weird?

In the process of planning our small awkward 'U' shape kitchen.

Would it look weird if I had the under the counter oven on one side/length of the U and the hob on another side, as in not directly above the oven?

If I move the oven, it would be at the end of a run of units, with the hob above it, saucepan handles would be a huge hazard. If the oven was not underneath, I could move the hob over as it wouldn't need to be symmetrical, if that makes any sense?

Where the oven will go is the longest part of worktop, so I really wanted to keep it free, rather than have the hob break it up.

The sink is on the third side.

There is absolutely no option to have an oven at waist/eye level.

No that's not weird, no issue at all

Ours are separate.
Then have drawers for cooking utensils, pans etc under the hob, Works really well.
Baking trays etc and serving bowls in a cupboard next to the oven.

Ours are separate too, the hob on a countertop and the oven nearby in a line of floor to ceiling wall cupboards

Thanks all.
They don't look weird when in a tower with a separate hob. But thought it may look weird with an under the counter oven and a hob elsewhere.

That's exactly how ours is, down to the U shaped kitchen too and I've never given it any thought about looking weird!
