Anyone else excited about a pending move (fingers crossed and all that)

So, after 7 yrs co-habiting with my ex on and off, we finally sold the marital home and I moved into my late mothers home. That is now sold STC and I have found somewhere. I am so excited! The house I'm buying is everything I wanted and more. I need to pinch myself sometimes. I know things can go wrong but I'm hoping it doesn't, I've been through so much just lately, I deserve this, don't I?

Anyone else 'on the edge' and buzzing? Tell me about the features of your new house that 'sealed the deal'.

This is our third attempt at moving, tried to move in 2019 and lost the property just before exchange as the owner decided to rent the property out, and this year we tried again - 7 months into a purchase (lots of obstacles) had just got to the point of exchange and the owner changed their mind, I was heartbroken… that was 3 weeks ago….. a new house came on the market this week which we love and had an offer accepted on it this morning!! So keeping everything crossed but I’m a bit of a nervous wreck! 3rd time lucky hey 🤞🤞🤞

We've been through a few awful years including bereavement, serious illnesses and big life changes. We moved to a house which seemed cursed from day one- awful neighbours, more health problems etc, but things have improved, we have sold and found a home we could never have dreamed of owning until now.
Cannot wait to get in and hope all goes smoothly for us all!!!

Slightly different in that we're moving into the latest in a long line of rentals... only been in this current one for just over a year and they're selling up after promising it would be a long term let 🥺 but this new rental we've secured is a "built to rent" house and owned and managed by a property development company so should be ours for as long as we want it. It's brand new, not even finished yet and I'm so excited I can barely sleep 😂

That sounds fantastic- I bet you can't wait to put down some roots. Brand new will be fabulous too!
