We live abroad and are planning to move back to the UK with our 3 young children. All primary school aged and below. This is a long-term/hopefully permanent move for us and so we are keen to hear as many experiences in the area as possible. Would love to hear anything about any of the following:
- Life in general in Buxton with young children
- Sense of community (especially since we aren’t locals)
- Local schools - primary & secondary, particular Buxton infants & juniors and Buxton Community school
- The weather - is it really as bad as people say!
- Housing - any nice or not so nice areas in particular?
- Any other big villages/towns in the area we should consider
