Roof cleaning cost

We have 7x7m house (total floor area 49sqmx2), so not huge.
I'm looking to get roof cleaned and nust had a quote of 3k! This doesn't include rubbish removal or any equipment. We are in SE.
Before I go back and tell them they are taking the , how much dis you pay?

Had ours hand scraped (lots of moss), cleaned gutters and then sprayed with an anti moss treatment. £600 3 years ago and it still looks great.

Moss was falling off roof of bungalow, large roof with lots of moss, blocking gutter and getting annoying around front door and over patio. I had heard that it can get under tiles causing leaks.
I asked my window cleaner about it, he said it probably didn't matter, but he did hand scrape roofs and spray to stop moss coming back. He charged under £1000. South East. It took him all day.
This was about eighteen months ago. I am very pleased, roof looked very sad and neglected before, now the place looks cared for.

Never cleaned the roof, but DH cleans the gutters out every year when he goes up the ladder to hang the lights.

You can then get gutter guards (we don't bother) that stop the moss falling into and blocking the gutter.
I suggest you spend your money wisely on these not a firm to clean (who may damage the roof)
