Hello - looking for experiences as I'm a novice.
Just bought our first house and the plumbing isn't all that. The upstairs toilet is hard to flush and the shower makes an awful noise when turned on. It's one of those where you push a thingy down near the tap to turn to shower.
The previous owner said it's the pump under the bath to give the shower pressure and that's just how it is.
Is it though? Surely you can get added pressure without the clanging.
How else can you get more pressure upstairs? Obviously something like that is fine for the shower but it's not helping the toilet situation.
Thank you
