Moulded foam or feather? Which one is nicer and lasts longer ... if indeed you lovely Mumsnetters think the sofas are good in the first place...

And while we're at it, we currently have two mini sofas and a chair. I want to get a normal sized sofa but should I go for two sofas or one sofa and two chairs?

Small square living room with fire as the focal point, which with the tv takes up one whole wall. Two straight empty walls, one is mostly window but currently has the chair in front. What are people's opinions?

It's just me and two almost flown teens. I have regular visitors but the teens vanish at this point so never seat more than 4 really.

I have a 2 seater and 3 seater sofa. I hated it at first as I was used to the traditional 3 seater and 2 chairs, but I wouldn’t go back now.

Oh I never thought of sofa and two chairs being the traditional way! I'm worried I'll miss curling up on a chair...

I prefer two seater sofas. DH and I have one each, plus one for visitors. We can put stuff down next to us without the room being cluttered up with side tables. In total we have four two-seaters in the house, one is a SofaSofa. Quality matches the (cheap) price. I wouldn't object to having another, but it's nothing special.
