How to get rid of cat smell

I viewed an empty house but the smell of cats (possibly tom cat) was overpowering. All curtains and carpets had been removed too. Is there any way to get rid of the smell? Not sure whether to offer or not.

Biological washing powder. But you need to know where the cat has sprayed. Difficult to wash down an entire house
