Loft boarding - steel or wood

hello! Getting my loft boarded and have received quotes for wooden or steel (loftzone) for the floor suspension.

curious if anyone has any recommendation for which would be better? There’s about £300 in the price .

its an old listed building if that makes any difference

we had guys that made it by hand to suit the insulation

depending on where you are - byfield lofts

We’re in Buckinghamshire so some way away, you’d have to ask if they cover that area

Don't forget to leave at least 30-50cm for insulation between ceiling and flooring above.
