Buyer withdrew- please share positive stories

OK so our house has not been on the market for long - 2 weeks on Monday. Had an offer after 1 week but buyer dropped after 48hrs… we have had 10 viewings in total but now they are drying up and we only have 1 lined up. Feeling disheartened and desperate to sell so we can secure our onward purchase. Would love to read similar experiences with a positive ending. Trying to keep chin up. Tia xx

We were in a similar position earlier in the year. A trickle of viewings, no offers, feedback we couldn't do anything about. Had had an offer accepted before ours went on the market and desperately needed to sell to secure it. Three weeks in got several offers. And last week we moved into our dream new house.

The conveyancing process was a complete headache...but I'm hoping our story gives you some hope. Good luck!

You only need one buyer

I'd rather 1 serious buyer through the door than 10 who are just in for a look round

This happened to us last time we bought and sold. We secured a cash buyer before we'd even gone to market, then they promptly pulled out a week later. It took another 2 weeks of being actually on the market, but we found another buyer after 3 more viewings, and secured above the asking price too.

2 years later we're moving yet again.

Every sympathy to you, it's such a stressful time but you'll get there!
