I'm pretty clueless but my friend has this in their new build and couldn't remember the name of the feature.

French doors and windows set out from the wall line ads another 0.5m of floor space for dining and the light and space from the side windows?

Not quite a conservatory, not just French door, not an orangey either

Looks like a big bay window

ScaredSceptic · 01/08/2024 09:31

Yes I'd describe it as a large bay window with french doors.

I thought it was called floor-to-ceiling windows, maybe with "set in an alcove" wording to emphasis slightly more floor.

It does look lovely though.

Thanks everyone!

It's it nice and adds space and light without taking up a huge extension.
