Declaring an escape of water on home report (Scotland)

Hello

Wondering if anyone can help
Does anyone know if when selling you need to declare an escape of water on the home report form in the section where it asks about floods?

I know that in insurance terms, a flood and an escape of water are different things
We had a bit of an issue with a burst pipe a couple of years ago but everything has been reinstated etc, just not sure if it really has to be declared if it’s not an actual flood from like a river/rain water etc

No you don't need to.

It’s not flood in insurance terms.

Flood is a natural occurrence from a river or rain or lack of flood defenses and it affects wholes areas not and isolated incident.
