Great buy for anyone with small rodents, who just won't slum it!

I wish there was more info on the structure in the blurb...

The description doesn't even mention it!

SkalengeckOrSiegbarste · 29/07/2024 22:41

Imagine having that in your garden as a child! Wow

Rehab4rightmove · 29/07/2024 23:06

@PickAChew the description is incredibly dry! I think I would have really enjoyed writing the blurb on it.

I want to know what it looks like from the other side.

Is it a kids play house?

Lampslights · 30/07/2024 08:40

I think it’s a very elaborate wall?

Summerhillsquare · 30/07/2024 08:45

WANT!!

KievLoverTwo · 30/07/2024 10:10

Oh my giddy aunt!!! What even IS that?

I once fell head over heels in love with a flat that was in a castle. The address was: No. 1, The castle.

The other half didn't want to buy it because there wasn't a moat.

The snob.

Rehab4rightmove · 30/07/2024 15:23

I thought it might extend beyond a facade as it seems to be further forward than the end of the neighbours garden, and the doorway seems to lead somewhere.

My initial thought was that it might be a playground for small pets as there's a mini kennel and water bowl in the garden too.

What the hell is that? Perhaps one of those "features" you'd hate to look at but feel awful about removing.

This house has been on MN before, it must have been for the previous sale. It looks like the house has been refurbished inside since then. I wonder why it's being sold twice so close together. I seem to remember there is some info about the garden castle eg. maybe on wikpedia. I'll have a look.

MaggieFS · 30/07/2024 15:39

Was wondering if it had been refurbed, it has all the hallmarks of effort being made at the front and inside and then they just give up when it comes to the garden (we bought one like that, but fortunately no child's castle!).

There's a fair bit of depth to it though! It could be a fancy garden shed!

It might have been bought by a "flipper" - people who buy properties, do them up, then sell them straight away to people who don't like doing renovations!
