Second viewing but they don't have house on the market

Hi, just after some opinions really.
We have our house on the market. Had a viewing earlier this week where the couple stayed for one hour! They are returning next week for a second viewing but it turns out that they don't even have their house on the market yet.
I didn't check this with our agent as I assumed they must be in a proceed-able position if wanting a second viewing.
Is this normal? I personally think I'd only be going for a second viewing if I was in a position to make an offer but maybe I'm wrong. Thanks in advance

Well, we've just bought a house and our house isn't on the market yet. We're lucky we have quite a bit of money in investments from a company sale so we're able to put a deposit down before selling ours.

I wouldn’t bother unless their house is either just about to go onto the market or they have some way of funding the purchase without selling. You aren’t going to take it off the market until theirs sells anyway so you may as well just wait.
