Hi all, we’ve got to a make a decision this week on which kitchen (HMKC or Magnet). HMKC is much cheaper for cabinets but Magnet’s appliances are coming up v reasonable which makes the overall quote stronger. Both quotes are based on the sales they have on at the moment. If you have a HMKC kitchen pls could you let me know where you got your appliances from? Am wondering if there’s anywhere that would rival the Magnet prices. And also where you sourced your worktop pls? Any advice would be much appreciated!

Handmade kitchens are going to have a half price sale starting 01 August. Are you comparing full price quotes?

DIY kitchens are FAR better quality than magnet & cheaper. Are you comparing the quality of appliances or just the price?

Have you also checked delivery for HKoC? I phoned them this week to check as we were comparing them to someone else and the earliest at the moment sounds like it'd be February (which is sadly too late for us!). Their stuff is lovely quality though, if you've not gone into the showroom yet it's worth a visit.

Thanks everyone. Yes, quote from HMKC includes a 50% discount which is great. But I’m just worried that if we source the appliances separately (and taps etc) it will end up being more than Magnet anyway.

And yes, there is a delivery slot for Jan!
