Accepted offer on my property, they want to view again on the weekend?

Accepted an offer from FTB, they've asked to see the house again this weekend.

Normal to view so soon after accepting? Thought usually second viewings were either done before offering or before exchange.

Neither normal or abnormal. I wouldn't read anything into it at all.

LaLaLouella · 16/07/2024 21:27

They are about to spend hundreds of thousands of pounds - it's fairly normal to want to take another look...

SlebBB · 16/07/2024 21:28

FTB - i’m guessing young and want to show parents

lousyatchoosingnames · 16/07/2024 21:33

Normal, they might want to measure and see where furniture would fit.

JokoKitten · 16/07/2024 21:34

Very normal. Isn't it better that they can look again and then be more sure of their decision to buy. If they are going to change their mind it's better to do it now than later.

Jeannie88 · 16/07/2024 21:34

Normal to want to view again, whether now or later. We've viewed ours twice, to look closer and take measurements etc. X

NashvilleQueen · 16/07/2024 21:35

They're probably very excited. I know I was.

Janieforever · 16/07/2024 21:40

Why wouldn’t they want to view it again, it’s a huge thing.

steppemum · 16/07/2024 21:46

we viewed ours 3 times.
twice before we offered and once after with a surveyor friend in tow.

It freaked out the sellers.
Which flumuxed me.

I am about to spend a LOT of money and I want to be sure that I have seen everything. 20 minutes before you spend hundreds of thousands of pounds is nuts!

I think seeing it again soon is a good thing.
(I also brought my mum the second time!)

TinyYellow · 16/07/2024 22:28

They might want to bring parents.

Krumblina · 16/07/2024 22:32

We viewed 4 times I think. Granted the property was empty but a short viewing of a place you're going to actually live and spend huge amounts of money on isn't really sufficient.

TeenLifeMum · 16/07/2024 22:33

Probably excited and want to see their new home-to-be.

SlightlygrumpyBettyswaitress · 16/07/2024 23:13

Expect at least one of their parents to come to tap random walls!
