Having a new kitchen fitted by Magnet today, can anyone tell me if I should expect them to cover the furniture/floors or is this an extra charge?
The main reason I went with Magnet is so I wouldn't have to source different people to do different things and have lots of additional costs for bits and bobs.
The workmen turned up somehow unaware they were going to be removing the old kitchen too, although they've now apparently sorted a skip to be here at 3pm, I'm not holding my breath tbh. Doesn't this need a permit too?!
And one of them has now left for the second time to buy some protective coverings..
I'm guessing I'm getting charged for all this, the fitting company originally sent me a quote for a few extra bits of work that I decided I wasn't going to go with as the cost was too high. They had also added a charge for protecting the floor which I told them I thought should be included. They were supposed to send me another quote but never did..
Anyone who's had them in to do their kitchen, with work included (i.e: not Magnet Trade) know what I should expect? Thank you 🙏🏻
