estate agent percentages?

what do you think the lowest percentage an estate agent will go down to?

they all seem to quote 1%, but I know that’s negotiable- just not sure where they will squeeze to.

the house is worth c £800k and should sell very easily as there is a lot of demand so they shouldn’t have to work too hard. Do you think 0.7% is reasonable for me to ask for?

Wow 1% sounds like a bargain - best we could find was 1.5!

We agreed a fixed fee that is around 0.65% of asking price.

Standard seems to be 1% here and I'm aware of one agent that often agrees 0.7 so definitely worth you giving it a go. Often easier to negotiate a lower percentage when selling at your price level too.
