Damp concrete floor

One room in our house has what used to be a porch coming off it. In the porch the floor is concrete and I think damp is coming up, based on the look and smell of the room. Can anyone tell me what I need done and what type of tradesperson I'd need?

It depends why it is damp.

Are there any water pipes or drainage pipes near the porch or on the outside of the porch? Can you take pics of the damp bit and the top of the outside of the porch and the bottoms of the walls of the outside of the porch.

I f there isn't a leaky pipe, it is most likely to be a problem with some guttering which is leading to water splashing up the outside of the building, or that the external ground level is above the damp proof course for the porch.

being a porch it probably doesn’t have a damp proof membrane

if that the case it needs digging up membrane putting down and re concreting
