Contents Insurance

I rent a small 2 bed house (Grade II listed) with my 15yr old dd and need recommendations for contents insurance. I was going to go with admiral but I’ve read some really crap reviews about claims not being approved and difficulties in cancelling when it’s time to renew with people being referred to debt collectors even though they’ve cancelled (and I don’t want my credit score to drop). My dd travels to London to visit her dad on a fairly regular basis and can be carrying nearly £3k worth of electronics at one time (camera, phone, switch, laptop etc). I was using first2protect and had used them for years but they tripled my premiums for no reason this year so I cancelled. Any advice or suggestions gratefully received. Thanks

I know someone who just had amazing service, and great payout, from admiral after an awful flood from the attic that affected pretty much the whole house contents, so much so that I’m regretting signing up with policy expert.
I think the £3k electronics exceeds the PE coverage I get though, I can imagine that bumping the price up hugely.
