Did anyone else have a wobble?

Bit of a back story, we found a house we loved, put ours on the market for it and it didn't work out. Decided to give ours another week on the market before we took ours off, on the 7th day one came on that we both instantly loved. By the water, doer upper, 4 bed detached and within budget, absolutely perfect. Meant a change of location but closer to work so all good.

It's been a long hard process so far, 32 viewings and 4 months on the market and we finally sold and secured the other house.

Everything is moving smoothly, survey came back last week all good. But the last few days were both having a wobble as to whether it's the right thing!

We absolutely love the house we're in now, 5 years in and a lot of hard work (renovation) and we have made a 50% profit, we weren't looking to sell just yet. But we are running out of space due to kids and working from home which weren't an issue when we bought.

This new house ticks all the boxes apart from the area, it's an area we both know and we love the location. I think we're just nervous to change location (having said this, it's 10 minutes away so not exactly far!) they don't come up often on the water, and it would be a dream! It's affordable, we're excited for the prospect and it's a home we could be very happy in for a while.

I guess I just want to see if anyone else has felt like this during the process and what was the outcome? Is it normal to have a little wobble at things like this?! Or are we being over cautious 🙈

Would love to hear any similar experiences and how it all went ☺️
