Sorry - how much do you pay

Every now and then I get a streak of fear about our new mortgage commitments. I'm hoping seeing what people are paying will make me feel better about it 😂😬

I'll start, new mortgage will be £1900 per month. Will go up on 2 years when our partial low interest rate runs out.

What are you paying?!

300 pm for a detached three bedroom house with garage

For the past 3 years nothing as we built our home and have no mortgage

We did however live in a static caravan for 18mo and had the worst, coldest winter where the water froze! That was not fun at all so at one point we had to rent a cottage for £500 a month.

Hello! What do you mean by protection? Is this some sort of insurance ?

Sorry yes, mortgage protection, so life cover, critical illness cover, income protection etc.

£500- but pay £550 for 4 bed semi detached - have over paid each month and end of year for 9 years been here and it's made a huge difference. 66K left and 12 months on low interest rate.

Previous house we fixed and got stuck on a really high rate when rates hit the floor with high lock in fee and a house that turned into a money pit.

9 year been here look like it gone up by nearly 100,000k which is stupid To rent a 3 bed semi in area in around 1000k a month which was a surprise though not much to rent in nearby area.

nearly 4k a month for a flat in a centrally location in London...rate around 5%
nearly bought almost two years ago when rate was lower around 3%, feel quite depressed about it, but what can we do, the rent kept increasing 5-10% every year so we wanted to buy
