New boiler low pressure code

Any advice on why a newly installed boiler could show low pressure error code ? It's frustrating. Hot water ok. But the error code comes and goes. Bar goes from 0.7 to 0.9. Will call installer but is this common in new boilers ? Previously had tank and immersion heater.

We had this but it was the heating pump that had gone- we hadn't replaced it at the same time so it wasn't the boiler at all

How newly installed and has the error been there all the time?
It sounds like it needs re-pressurising which could just be because they didn't properly pressurise it in the first place, or could be a leak somewhere in the system.

I came on to post the same as above. If it's down to a part or valve (we had to have both replaced when we had something similar), it'll be covered by your guarantee. Those readings aren't totally out of line with what I'd expect on ours, so hopefully not anything too bad. Our last boiler would go down very low and then up really high over 3bar.

Installed only last Thurs and the code came up day after. We repressurisd up a bar and it was OK then dropped again. Seems to go up and down. But the code keeps coming up.

Just had a thought, If you've had the boiler a few months, then it might be worth adding some more water to it via the filling loop (maybe up to 1bar on a cold boiler) to see if that helps. We sometimes have to do this between servicing.

In that case, give your engineer a call this morning.

Agreed, if you've repressurised and it's already low again within a few days that implies a leak.
