Villages north of Taunton

We are thinking of moving from our deprived coastal town to a more rural location.

Looking at villages around Taunton.

Can anyone tell me a thing about that area?
We have a 3 and 5 year old.

How are the schools?
We'd love a village with a bit of a community feel if possible. We'd like to be rural but not feel too isolated.

Wellington is south of Taunton but is very nice. Good schools and enough shops to potter round and pick up most things except maybe clothes.

Our friends live near Kentisbeare and say there’s a great community.
uffculme school is very good (state) so maybe look in the catchment area for that?
